Product Quality
Our 925 sterling silver jewellery is crafted with precision, using a composition of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper or other alloys to enhance strength and durability while maintaining its natural luster. Every piece is entirely handmade, undergoing a detailed silversmithing process that includes alloying, casting, soldering, and hand-finishing to achieve intricate detailing and structural integrity.
Traditional techniques such as lost-wax casting and hand-forging are combined with modern precision methods like laser welding and ultrasonic polishing to ensure durability and refinement. Surface treatments, including high-polish finishing and oxidation, are applied to enhance appearance and longevity.
Certain pieces of our collection are further elevated with hand-painted surfaces, where finely pigmented enamel or specialized paints are carefully applied to the silver surface. Once painted, a transparent epoxy resin coating is then applied, sealing the artwork against wear, moisture, and UV exposure. This protective layer preserves the detail while adding depth and brilliance to the design, ensuring long-term resistance to fading, chipping, or discoloration.
Designed for durability, sterling silver requires proper care to maintain its brilliance. Exposure to air and moisture can cause oxidation over time, which can be managed through regular cleaning and storage in anti-tarnish environments. Each piece is handcrafted for both aesthetic appeal and structural resilience, ensuring lasting wear. As part of our dedication to your investment, we also emphasize the importance of proper care. Sterling silver jewellery is timeless and elegant, but to keep it looking its best, proper care is essential. Follow these simple yet effective guidelines to maintain its shine and prevent tarnishing or damage.
Guidelines for Sterling Silver Jewellery Care and Protection
Daily Care & Wear
Apply perfumes, lotions, and hair products before putting on your jewellery to avoid chemical exposure.
Take off silver jewellery before swimming, exercising, showering, or doing household chores to prevent exposure to water, sweat, and chemicals.
Prolonged exposure to sunlight or high temperatures can accelerate tarnishing.
Storage & Protection
Store separately – Keep each piece in a soft pouch or a lined jewellery box to prevent scratching.
Storing silver jewellery with anti-tarnish strips or silica gel packs helps absorb moisture and slow down tarnishing.
Keep away from harsh materials – Avoid storing silver jewellery in paper, cardboard, or plastic bags, as they may contain chemicals that accelerate tarnish.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Regular Cleaning
After each wear, gently wipe your jewellery with a soft polishing cloth to remove dirt and oils.
Deep Cleaning (Monthly or When Tarnished)
Mild Soap & Water: Mix warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap. Soak the jewellery for 5–10 minutes, gently rub with a soft-bristle toothbrush, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
Baking Soda Paste: Mix 1 part baking soda with 2 parts water to create a paste. Apply gently, rinse, and dry immediately.
Aluminium Foil & Baking Soda Bath: Line a bowl with aluminium foil, add hot water and 1 tbsp of baking soda per cup of water, place the jewellery inside (ensuring it touches the foil), leave for 2–5 minutes, then rinse and dry.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners
Do not use bleach, ammonia, toothpaste, or rough cloths, as they can scratch or damage the silver.
Avoid chemical silver dips on oxidized or gemstone-set jewellery, as they can strip finishes and harm stones.
Restoring Shine
Use a professional silver polishing cloth to restore brilliance and remove minor tarnish.
For heavily tarnished jewellery, professional cleaning and polishing are recommended.
Special Care for Epoxy-Coated Jewellery
Avoid harsh chemicals & solvents: Epoxy coatings can be damaged by strong chemicals, including alcohol, acetone, and household cleaning agents.
Keep away from prolonged water exposure: Although epoxy provides a protective layer, excessive moisture can weaken its bond over time.
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning: Gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid scrubbing or using abrasive materials.
Store carefully: Keep epoxy-coated jewellery in a separate pouch or a lined jewellery box to prevent scratches and chipping.
Avoid extreme temperatures: Sudden temperature changes can cause epoxy to expand or contract, leading to cracks or detachment.
